The Bigmind Chrome extension captures supported Google Meet and Microsoft Teams browser meetings from your device. No separate notetaker joins the participant list when you use client capture.
#Get started
- Install the Bigmind Chrome extension and sign in.
- Confirm that your administrator has assigned you to client capture and that your plan and capture policies allow this method.
- Join the meeting in Chrome and use the Bigmind button to check capture status.
- Keep the meeting tab and extension running while capturing.
#During the meeting
Use the Bigmind menu to open Sidekick or pause and resume transcription when your policy allows it. The language control changes the spoken caption language for client capture. Review and accept automatic language suggestions before they take effect.
#Transcript and recording policies
Your administrator can configure transcript and recording policies separately for client capture. A meeting may have a transcript without a video recording. The controls do not override your organization’s capture policy.
#If you are assigned to a bot
The extension can instead display the remote bot’s status and controls. In this mode, it does not create a second local transcript. See Via meeting bot for inviting, changing language, and removing the bot.
