Lists & Outreach

Audience tab

Choose the source list, filter accounts, select people, and control how list changes affect an active campaign.

The Audience tab controls which accounts and people can enter the campaign. Campaign audiences currently come from a Bigmind list with both Targetable Account and Targetable People columns.

#Choose a list

  1. Open the Audience tab.
  2. Select List.
  3. Under Which list should this campaign use?, choose a campaign-ready list.
  4. Review the audience summary before continuing.

A list does not appear if it lacks a Targetable Account or Targetable People column. Add the missing column to the list, populate it, and return to the campaign.

#Filter account rows

Enable Filter to narrow the campaign to rows that match selected list-column conditions. Choose a column, comparison, and value for each filter. Available comparisons adapt to the column type and include text matching, number and date comparisons, select-option matching, true or false, and empty or not empty.

The audience summary updates to show the effect of the filters. Select a summary value or View accounts in audience to inspect the matching and skipped rows.

#Understand the audience summary

  • Accounts targeted: Account rows eligible for campaign planning.
  • People pool: People who match the person-targeting rules.
  • Accounts skipped: Rows that cannot be planned because a requirement is missing or no selected channel is available.
  • Emailable, callable, and LinkedIn pools: People with the contact detail required by each enabled channel.

#Choose people within each account

  • Any targetable person: Include people whose Target checkbox is enabled and who have an available contact channel.
  • Specific personas only: Include people tagged with one of the selected personas. Enable Also require Target checked when persona membership alone should not make a person eligible.

#Handle later list changes

Enable Update campaign dynamically if audience changes? when changes to the source list should be considered after the campaign starts.

ChangeAvailable behavior
New rowIgnore it, send it for review, or plan it automatically at the next available sending slot.
Relevant row updateKeep the existing plan, send the update for review, or cancel future tasks and replan automatically.
Row deleted or excluded by filtersCancel its upcoming tasks immediately.

Rows configured for review appear under Audience changes awaiting review on the Overview tab, where an editor can accept or decline each proposal.

#Choose a test pool

When agentic outreach planning is enabled, the Audience tab shows a test pool of up to five accounts. Bigmind uses the first five eligible accounts by default, or you can select representative accounts yourself. If a selected account falls outside the current filters, the tab warns you before preview generation.

Use varied accounts in the test pool so you can evaluate how the instructions behave with different industries, personas, data completeness, and available channels.

#Troubleshooting

  • A list is not available: Confirm it has populated Targetable Account and Targetable People columns.
  • An account is skipped: Open the audience breakdown to see whether it lacks people, contact details, or another campaign requirement.
  • A persona returns no people: Check that the same persona key is assigned to people in the Targetable People column.
  • A test account is outside the audience: Change the account selection or update the audience filters before regenerating the preview.
