Bigmind offers two capture approaches: a remote meeting bot, or capture on your own device. On-device capture is available through the Chrome extension and desktop app.
Your organization’s plan determines which methods are available and whether an administrator can switch between them. Choose a guide for the option you use.
#Via meeting bot
A visible notetaker joins Google Meet or Microsoft Teams and captures the transcript and recording together. It can join eligible calendar meetings automatically and continue while other participants remain after you leave.
#Via extension
The Chrome extension captures supported browser meetings from your device without a separate bot joining. Keep your meeting tab and extension running during capture.
#Via desktop app
The macOS desktop app captures supported meetings on your Mac without a separate bot joining. Use the app’s meeting controls and capture preferences.
#Assign methods to your team
In Manage capture settings and policies, On the client covers the extension and desktop app. Via meeting bot assigns bot capture. Both uses client capture by default and lets administrators select users for bot capture. Available choices depend on your plan.
Both does not enable duplicate local and bot capture for the same user. Users assigned to bot capture do not also transcribe locally.
