Enrichment columns

An enrichment column runs a structured action for every row you choose. Its source can be a supported Bigmind enrichment integration or an active custom tool created by your organization.

Add an enrichment column

  1. Add a column and select Add enrichment.
  2. Choose an action from a connected integration or from the Custom tools group.
  3. Map each required input to a fixed value, table variable, or another column in the row.
  4. Choose the value type that best matches the action output. Use JSON when the action returns an object or array.
  5. Optionally add run conditions or transform the output.
  6. Create the column, then test one cell before running the complete column.

Use a custom tool

All active custom tools are available under Custom tools in the enrichment source picker. The tool’s input schema controls which inputs appear in the column configuration. This lets your organization use internal data services, proprietary enrichment sources, and customer-specific workflows in Lists without requiring a native Bigmind integration.

Map row data into inputs

Use values from the current row whenever the tool should run differently for each account or person. For example, map an Account domain column into a company enrichment action, or map a CRM ID into an internal Customer Insights tool.

Run safely

  • Test the action on one representative row first.
  • Use run conditions to exclude rows that are missing required inputs or do not need enrichment.
  • Choose a value type that matches the result so the output remains usable by filters, formulas, and downstream columns.
  • Use an output transform when you only need one field from a larger result.
  • Review provider or custom-tool usage before running large batches.
