#Using Google Maps in enrichment workflows

Google Maps is useful when the account or list row represents a physical business, venue, local branch, restaurant, retail location, clinic, office, or other place-based entity. A common workflow is to find the place ID from a website domain, then use that place ID to retrieve details and reviews.

#Strategy support

Google Maps is business and place enrichment. It does not currently expose people enrichment capabilities for email or phone strategies. Use it alongside people enrichment providers when you need account or location context in addition to contact data.

#Troubleshooting

  • No match found from a domain: Try a more specific search query that includes the business name and city.
  • Missing phone, hours, or reviews: Google Places only returns fields that are available for the selected place and allowed by the requested field mask.
  • API errors: Confirm the API key has Places API access enabled and the Google Cloud project has billing configured.
