Plan, review, and start a campaign

Planning turns campaign setup into concrete account sequences and scheduled touches. Nothing moves into active outreach until the full plan is generated, reviewed, and started.

1. Check campaign readiness

Before planning, confirm that:

  • The Audience tab has a list, Targetable Account column, Targetable People column, and any intended filters or persona rules.
  • At least one channel is enabled and eligible people have its required contact detail.
  • The sender setup has the active accounts required by the enabled channels.
  • The Schedule tab has the intended start date, days, timezone behavior, and email limit.
  • The Sequences tab has complete AI instructions or a matching Message column for each enabled touch type.

2. Plan a test pool or the full audience

Select Plan campaign. When no current plan exists, Bigmind asks you to choose:

  • Test pool: Generate a preview for up to five selected accounts. Use this to validate personalization and sequence structure before spending time on the full audience.
  • Full audience: Generate outreach for all currently eligible account rows.

Planning first resolves the audience and channel eligibility, then generates or prepares the outreach. Progress appears in the campaign header and on the Sequences tab. You can cancel an in-progress preview or build.

3. Review account sequences

Open Sequences > Review. Select an account to inspect its visual sequence, including:

  • The account and targeted people.
  • The resolved sender and destination.
  • Email, call, LinkedIn profile-view, connection, and message steps.
  • Wait periods and channel conditions.
  • Planned local date, time, and timezone.

Use Inspect to copy the materialized sequence or the resolved AI instructions. In a preview, you can add another account to the test pool, up to five, and regenerate it.

4. Edit individual outreach

Select an editable step in the visual sequence to open its editor:

  • For an email, edit the subject and body. A follow-up that replies in the earlier email thread keeps its subject locked.
  • For a call, edit the call script.
  • For a LinkedIn connection or message, edit the message.
  • LinkedIn profile-view steps contain no message and are not editable.

Select Save changes to store the manual version for that step.

5. Resolve skipped accounts

Skipped accounts appear alongside generated sequences with their reasons. Common causes include:

  • No targeted people.
  • No email address, phone number, or LinkedIn profile for the selected channel.
  • No active sender email or LinkedIn account.
  • The account no longer matches the audience filters.

Fix the source list or campaign configuration, then regenerate the preview or re-plan the campaign.

6. Generate and review the full audience

If the current build is a preview, select Plan campaign again to generate the full audience. Review representative sequences and the skipped-account breakdown before starting.

7. Start the campaign

Select Start campaign. The confirmation summarizes targeted and skipped accounts, total touches, emails, call scripts, LinkedIn connections, and LinkedIn messages.

After confirmation, Bigmind moves the campaign into progress and prepares delivery from the resolved senders. With the current review mode, outreach actions appear in users' daily plans for review and completion.

After the campaign starts

  • Use the Overview tab to monitor sequences, tasks, engagement, and lifecycle logs.
  • Use Stop campaign to cancel future scheduled work. Depending on its history, a stopped campaign can be restarted, duplicated, or archived.
  • Audience rules can automatically plan or stage later list changes, or cancel upcoming work for deleted and excluded rows.
  • Setup tabs become read-only while a campaign is in progress or completed.
