Targetable Account

Give each account row a stable identity for matching, enrichment, views, and outreach.

A Targetable Account column identifies the account represented by a list row. Use it when each row is an account you want to research, enrich, match, or contact.

#Add a Targetable Account column

  1. Add a column and choose Targetable Account.
  2. Give the column a name such as Account.
  3. Keep unique domains enabled when each account should appear only once in the list.
  4. Create the column.
  5. Add an account reference to each row, or start from an account-list template or import that creates the values for you.

#Account identity

A Targetable Account can identify an account by domain, CRM ID, or URL and can include a display label. Use the domain when it is available: it normally provides the most portable identity for matching the same account across lists and enrichment sources.

The display label is the readable account name. The lookup value is the stable identity Bigmind uses for matching, so changing only the label does not create a different account.

#Unique domains

Enable unique domains when the list should contain one row per account. Bigmind prevents two Targetable Account values with the same normalized domain from being stored in that column.

If the list already contains duplicate domains, resolve those duplicates before enabling the setting. Leave it disabled only when the workflow intentionally needs multiple rows for the same account.

#What Targetable Account enables

  • An account-oriented list view.
  • Account-aware inputs for CRM data, enrichment, formulas, and AI.
  • Matching against the same account in another list with List Lookup.
  • Outreach preparation when paired with a Targetable People column.

#Troubleshooting

  • An account does not match another list: Check that both rows use the same identity type and normalized lookup value. Prefer the same domain in both lists.
  • A duplicate-domain warning appears: Find the existing row for that domain or disable unique domains only if duplicates are intentional.
  • The account name is wrong: Edit the display label without replacing the correct lookup value.
  • The list is not ready for person-level outreach: Add Targetable People and at least one targetable contact channel for the people you want to reach.
