Bigmind can create Bigmind teams from your HubSpot teams and keep their memberships synced. This helps your HubSpot ownership structure power Bigmind access policies, common filters, meetings, deals, accounts, coaching, and insights.

#Where to Manage HubSpot Teams
- Go to Settings > CRM > HubSpot.
- Open the Teams tab.
- Review the HubSpot teams Bigmind has synced.
- Click Create team in Bigmind for each team you want to use in Bigmind.
#How Sync Works
- Bigmind reads HubSpot teams and HubSpot users.
- HubSpot users are matched to Bigmind users through CRM user aliasing.
- When you create a HubSpot team in Bigmind, Bigmind creates a CRM-sourced team and adds matched members.
- Future HubSpot user syncs update the Bigmind team membership, adding and removing members as HubSpot changes.
If a HubSpot team member does not have a matching Bigmind user, that person cannot be added to the Bigmind team until a Bigmind user exists and is matched to the HubSpot user.
#Hierarchy
HubSpot does not expose team hierarchy through its API. Bigmind still lets you arrange HubSpot-sourced teams into a hierarchy in Bigmind, so you can use parent and child teams for permissions and filters.
#What You Can Edit
- Members: Managed by HubSpot sync. Edit membership in HubSpot.
- Hierarchy: Managed in Bigmind for HubSpot-sourced teams.
- Team removal: You can remove a created HubSpot-sourced team from Bigmind. This does not delete the team in HubSpot.
#Use Synced Teams in Bigmind
Once created, HubSpot-sourced teams appear on the Bigmind Teams page and can be used in Permission Policies.
#Troubleshooting
- A team shows 0 members: Confirm the HubSpot users are synced and matched to Bigmind users.
- A removed HubSpot member still appears: Rerun the HubSpot users sync so Bigmind receives the latest team assignment.
- Hierarchy is missing: This is expected for HubSpot. Arrange the hierarchy in Bigmind.
