Connect Your Website to Bigmind Library

Turn your website into AI-powered sales intelligence

Your website contains some of your most valuable sales content—product pages, case studies, blog posts, documentation, competitive positioning, and marketing materials. The Website Integration automatically pulls all this content into Bigmind Library, making it instantly searchable and actionable for your AI agents.

Unlike manually uploading documents one by one, the website integration automatically discovers and indexes all pages from your sitemap. Whenever you update your website, Bigmind automatically syncs the changes, keeping your AI agents up to date with your latest content.

How AI agents use your website content

Once connected, your AI agents can search through all indexed website pages to:

  • Surface relevant case studies that match your prospect's industry, use case, or company size when drafting personalized outreach
  • Pull product documentation to answer technical questions accurately and cite specific features or capabilities
  • Reference competitive positioning pages to strengthen your pitch with differentiation points
  • Share marketing materials like whitepapers, guides, or blog posts that address prospect pain points
  • Find pricing information or ROI calculators to support business case conversations
  • Cite customer testimonials and success stories that build credibility

Every time an agent references website content, it includes inline citations with links back to the original page, so your team can verify the information and share the source directly with prospects.

Pre-requisites

Before setting up the Website Integration, make sure you have:

  • A website with a publicly accessible sitemap (typically at https://yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml)
  • The base URL of the website you want to connect (e.g., https://yourcompany.com)

Tip: You can connect up to 3 different websites to Library. Consider connecting your main marketing site, documentation site, and blog separately to organize your content sources.

How to connect your website

Setting up the Website Integration is straightforward:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations in Bigmind
  2. Find Website Sitemap in the available integrations
  3. Click Connect
  4. Enter your website's base URL (e.g., https://yourcompany.com)
  5. Select which languages you want Bigmind to index from the available language options
  6. Click Save

Bigmind will automatically discover your sitemap and begin indexing pages in the selected languages. Depending on the size of your website and number of selected languages, initial indexing may take a few minutes to complete.

Multi-language support: If your website is available in multiple languages, you can choose which specific languages to index. This is especially useful for multilingual websites where you only want to make certain language versions available to your sales team.

How syncing works

After the initial connection, Bigmind automatically syncs your website content:

  • Incremental syncs: Runs every 30 days to check for new or updated pages
  • Automatic discovery: Bigmind follows your sitemap structure to find all public pages
  • Multi-language support: Indexes content in the languages you selected during setup, making it available to agents in those specific languages
  • Intelligent indexing: Uses AI embeddings to make content searchable by semantic meaning, not just keywords

Note: Only publicly accessible pages listed in your sitemap will be indexed. Pages behind authentication or not included in the sitemap won't be synced.

Using website content in AI agents

Once your website is connected and synced, your AI agents can automatically search through the indexed content. The search tool is named dynamically based on your domain (e.g., "Search yourcompany.com Website").

When building or configuring AI agents:

  • Enablement agents can reference product pages, case studies, and marketing materials when drafting outreach
  • Deal agents can pull competitive positioning and ROI content to support sales cycles
  • Account agents can find relevant resources based on the account's industry or use case

Agents will automatically include inline citations when they reference website content, showing which page the information came from and providing a direct link.

Managing website connections

To view or manage your website connections:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find the Website Sitemap integration
  3. Click on a connected website to view sync status and settings
  4. Use Disconnect to remove a website connection if needed

You can connect up to 3 different websites. To connect a new website after reaching the limit, you'll need to disconnect an existing one first.

Best practices

To get the most value from the Website Integration:

  • Organize your sitemap: Ensure your sitemap includes all valuable sales content like case studies, product pages, and resources
  • Keep content updated: Bigmind syncs automatically, but the more current your website content, the better your AI responses
  • Use descriptive page titles: Clear, descriptive titles help AI agents understand and surface the right content
  • Structure your content: Well-structured HTML with proper headings makes content more searchable and useful
  • Connect multiple sites: If you have separate marketing, documentation, and blog sites, connect each one for comprehensive coverage

Pro tip: After connecting your website, test it out by asking an AI agent questions about your product features or case studies. You'll see how agents cite specific pages as sources.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with the Website Integration:

  • No content showing up: Verify that your sitemap is publicly accessible at https://yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml
  • Partial indexing: Check that all important pages are included in your sitemap
  • Agents can't find content: Allow a few minutes after initial connection for indexing to complete
  • Connection failed: Ensure the base URL you entered is correct and the website is publicly accessible

If you continue experiencing issues, contact support with your website URL and connection details.
