Create a sub-account through MCP

Connect Partner MCP with partner write access. For your first account before connecting, use the partner dashboard.

Choose the account details

  • Name: the customer’s organization name.
  • Domain: a domain such as customer.example, without a URL scheme or an @ sign.
  • Jurisdiction: eu for European Union or auto for automatic selection. Choose this during setup.
  • Companies: the customer-capacity tier; the default is 50.
  • Billing interval: monthly or yearly.
  • Request key: a unique identifier for this setup request. Reuse it when retrying the same request.

Ask your client to create the account

Create a partner sub-account for Acme, domain acme.example,
with EU jurisdiction, 100 customers, and yearly billing.
Use request key acme-onboarding-2026-10.

Your client calls partnerCreateSubAccount. It returns the new organization ID. The account is owned by your partner organization, and the user who creates it is added as an active owner.

The account starts a 14-day Business trial with unlimited free seats. Supplying a domain does not verify domain ownership or automatically admit people who share that email domain.

Select the new account

Creation does not switch the connection. Ask your client to call partnerSwitchTenant with the returned organization ID, then run whoami before configuring the customer.

Next: review tiers and the trial, or prepare a demo.
