Customer setup

Switch between customer workspaces

Keep each MCP connection pointed at the organization you intend to configure.

#List accounts, switch, then verify

List my partner sub-accounts.
Switch this connection to the organization ID for Acme.
Run whoami to confirm the selected workspace.

The tools are partnerListSubAccounts, partnerSwitchTenant, and whoami. Wait for the switch to finish before starting another operation.

You can switch to an accessible sub-account of the connected partner organization, or back to that partner organization. You must remain an active owner of the enabled partner organization and an active member of the child account.

#What changes when you switch?

Normal tools, including CRM, library, Signals, and enabled Advanced groups, use the selected workspace. Demo tools also use that workspace and require its demo mode to be enabled. Account creation, account listing, and demo-mode management remain tied to the connected partner organization.

A tool call already in progress keeps the workspace it started in. A switch affects subsequent calls on this connection. Separate OAuth authorizations keep independent selections; switching one does not switch the other.

#When access changes

If partner access or child membership is removed, requests are checked against the updated access. Select another accessible account or ask an organization owner to restore the appropriate membership. Reconnect to change the partner organization or consented tool groups.
