You need an approved partner organization, an active owner membership, and at least one sub-account. Use an AI client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.
1. Add the Partner MCP server
Add a remote MCP server or custom connector in your client and use this URL:
https://api.bigmind.ai/partners/mcp
Name the connection after the customer workspace you intend to use. Start the client’s connection flow to open Bigmind authorization.
2. Complete the three authorization steps
- Partner organization: choose your approved partner organization.
- Sub-account: choose the customer organization this connection should initially use.
- Tool access: choose the permissions for this connection, then authorize it.
Choose partner write access to create accounts, change demo mode, or use demo data tools. Enable the workspace tool groups you need as well. Advanced groups such as Signals and Development are available to partners; select read or write access according to your work. Permissions apply to this connection.
3. Confirm the workspace
Run whoami and tell me which customer organization this connection is using.
Then list my partner sub-accounts.
Use partnerListSubAccounts to discover account IDs. Normal workspace tools operate in the selected organization. Account creation and partner-management tools operate through the connected partner organization.
Connecting more than one customer
If your client supports multiple connections to the same server, authorize each connection separately and select a different sub-account. Each authorization keeps its own selected workspace. You can also switch workspaces within a connection.
If connection fails
Check that you used /partners/mcp, that you still own the enabled partner organization, and that you are an active member of the selected sub-account. Reconnect if you need different tool permissions. If no sub-accounts are available, create the first one in the partner dashboard.
